About Me
Hi! I'm a product designer with product management experience in the education and non-profit space.
I graduated from New Pork University's Integrated Design and Media program in 2023, where I developed a comprehensive skill set in interdisciplinary design. This background enables me to adapt across industries, creating tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of each project.
As a curious person, I love learning new things: concepts, processes—creative tools to bring those very concepts and processes to life.
In my free time, I love reading, gaming, and watching bears. Check out my Now page to see what I've been up to.
INTRODUCTION
Teachers need easy access to climate teaching materials.
To achieve this, the search and discovery process for finding teaching materials must be efficient and straightforward.
PROBLEM
Lack of context and visual clutter cause inefficiency, confusion, and wasted time for teachers.
At launch, STC released two pages: Lesson Plans by Teachers and Resource Database. The first had only STC lesson plans, while the second included all STC materials and external resources.
Focus groups and interviews showed users were unclear about the content of each page and the difference between STC materials and external resources
⦿ Design Shortfalls
The design is visually overwhelming and lacks hierarchy, scattering key information that teachers need across different areas instead of highlighting it prominently.

SOLUTION
Overhaul the current Resource Database: a cross-team effort.

Redesign the page for intuitive, user-friendly navigation and prioritize clarity in information presentation.

Reorganize content categorization: distinctively divide external content from STC content.
